few questions... the new school that I'm going to has a computer system that everything that you type, every where that you go, it sends that info (log file) to the master computer. is there any way to block that like maybe block winstock or something
also does anyone know where the master computer's network password is stored???

there is probably no way to get around it, I am sure they dont allow student's rights to be able to close any running programs that the student's themselves didnt start.
I was lucky at my old school, we were using the Novell Equivalent of windows 3.1 and the network was so unstable that nothing could be run or it would crash..... well thats not really lucky, but we werent monitered :D
um win98 I beilve I'm not sure, I haven't started school yet, but I need to know how, its for educational purposes only (wink wink)
if you haven't started school yet then how do you know that they have a program that does this?
anyways you say that the program catches everything you type ... make a program that brings up the "close program" window (ctrl + alt + del) and close the program through it and you will have never typed anything and you can enjoy unsupervised priveledge (?)

no becuase there are 2 people besides the teacher walking around in the class room looking at what we are doing, and its hard to reach the back of your computer without standing up, the way that they are setup
I don't think your going to get anywhere Dimava. They set Administrative rules on the machine to lock you from certain things for reasons. Same thing with the key logger. I'm sure it was made by a certain company, and it's probably hidden until a certain password is used to disable it. Nothing you can really do about it. Especially if it's Windows NT. With that, the administrator can disable everything. You probably couldn't even enter a disk to put a program on there to delete the program because it probably won't allow you. I could be wrong. The computer's at my high school are like this, they think that someone's going to put a virus on the computer so they disable a lot. And than there's a log file to log your session and if anything is violated, they will delete your account (or at least, they always threaten to).
its not win nt and as my friends explain,, teh teachers are idots and have no clue how everything works, they just had a company come and install it, and show them how it works. Also I can let them see what I'm doing as long as I clear it from the log, also I can try to be the teachers pet and use his computer sometimes (only with luck) or... I can send the master computer a trojian and then send it files to delete the log files but its too complicated, and not worth getting expeled, but maybe its alot easier then how my friends explained it becuase 2 know nothing about computer but 1 is advanced, but he had that class like 5 years ago, so alot might have changed, and they might have exagerated it a little too much, but I'll try my hardest, hopefully its something more funner then last years (office 97, I got a 99% average on my Report Card)
I am definately interested in this thread as I have had a similiar situation myself at my school. I was the one who could do anything at school and everyone knew it; they just could never prove anything. In order to help, I need to know the following things:
Do you have your own login/pass, is it a set login for each computer (Computer #7 is like Student7/Student7), or the same login for every computer in the lab?
What is the workstation OS (Win 98 most likely)
What is the server OS (Novell or Win NT/2000 most likely)
If you're not sure, use this as a guideline: If you have to log in on a screen that says Novell, it's Novell. If you log in using the regular Windows login, it's probably NT/2000.
Can you put a disk (floppy/zip) into the computers and access it?
Can you run any programs on the computer or does it give you an error when you try to?
Can you access the control Panel?
When you open My Computer, can you open the C:\ drive, or is the icon not there?
When you type a path into the address bar of explorer, does it go to the folder or display an error message?
Once you tell me this info, I will be able to help you out a lot. I have some custom programs I made for circumventing my school's restrictions.
I'm saying all of this theoretically speaking of course; I would never do anything like this in real life.. :)
The most common way is to use a backdoor.
The question is what do you want to do while you're on the computer. Depending on what you want to do there's different ways. In some cases...you can't be not logged.
Do you want to access the network? The Net?

one thing that came to my mind was that you could type extra letters while you're on the computer so when they read the log file they won't know what you typed ...
for example if you have the internet installed on it and you wanted to go to a site like http://www.cool.com
you could type: w.wdidw.ccolol.coomm
then with the mouse just delete the unneccessary letters

de-compile all the networking DLL's on the PC, re-write them to your specifications, put them on a floppy disk along with a quick program to copy them to the right places fast.

When you log onto the computer windowz, windoze itself is being told what to open at boot...
Now you can easily change what it opens.
Now when you WANT to log on undected do you want to be able to access the network and the internet????

School networks suck. In the UK, most schools use a ****** brand of networking software called RM (Research Machines) http://www.rm.com , which is notoriuosly insecure. I once made a fake login program for RM Networks.
Anyway, the admins on the nwtwork there locked everything up so bad... I mean, were talking disabling the right click button in explorer for gods sake! Jeez. What are we gonna do? Right click and create a new file?!?!?!?
One idea is if your use of executable files is logged, then rename with a .scr extension, then run the app. Should run normally.
As a guy said earlier, rip the wire out of the back of the machine to disable them logging you. Alternatively, get a task listing program and terminate the logging software, or edit the registry (possibly through DOS if it is backed up on startup) and remove any entries for logging software in the run sections if they exist.
Anyway, just my little contribution to school networks and getting past **** security. Loads more sploits exist. Will detail if you want...

Depending on how the network is setup it might be impossible. Some school networks are hooked uo to the server which saves all the material. In this case you can't access any of the computers but the server which is impossible to...putting it newbiefied, "Hack".
Now if you can access the network and all the computers around you, you need to change the network ID of that computer.
All of this ain't easy and will take a few steps :(.
NOTE: IF U R CAUGHT U R F....ED!!!!!!
1. YOU MUST KNOW DOS TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS AND WINDOWS OR YOU WON'T MAKE IT <:)
2. Reboot the computer
3. WHILE its booting hold F8
4. When a DOS Prompt comes up select DOS Prompt, Safe Mode.
5. Type: Xcopy C:\Autoexec.bat C:\Windows\Auto.bak
Type: Xcopy C:\Windows\Win.ini C:\Windows\winBck.bck
Type: Xcopy C:\Windows\System.ini C:\Windows\System.bck
---This is making a backup of the autoexec file. You will need this file later.
6. Type: Edit C:\Autoexec.bat
7. Being up text editor with a file
8. REMOVE EVERYTHING AND...
9. Add this line, "PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\Windows\Command
10. Save the File And Exit the program.
11. Type Edit C:\Windows\System.INI
12. Make sure User.exe equals user.exe ex. "user.exe=user.exe" and shell equals "shell=explorer.exe".
13. Save the File And Exit
14. Type Edit C:\Windows\Win.ini
15. Make sure run equals nothing. ex. "run="
Same as load.
16. Save the File
17. Reboot the computer (Take it off or just hit Alt Ctrl Del).
18. Now When In the Login Screen hit Alt & Esc. If nothing happens then ignor these Steps.
a. Using taskman run Explorer.exe (Make sure network cable is out just incase u messed up).
19. Just hit Esc (make sure network cable is out).
20. Try opening control panel. If not there u messed up. You could try running Control.exe in run but I doubt it would work if u messed up.
21. Change the Network Name of the computer...anything will do :>
22. Reboot.
23. Change the DOS Files you changed before by logging into DOS using the F8 Trick.
24. Log in as anyone. If it still doesn;t let you just find a login name and password of anyone. Usually login names and passwords are easy to get
25. On Every Computer you want to HACK open C:\Windows\System.ini with Notepad and change the value of Shell=Explorer to Shell=URHACKED.FU
(Try writing a VB Program for this...less time :>)
26. Then save on every comp.
27. Open Notepad on your own comp.
28. Use step 25 on ur own computer.
29. Shut down the computer.
30. GET THE F... OUT OF THERE!!!!
31. Don't get caught
End.

Use notepad...and the teachers won't mind if you have it open...Just make sure you have wordpad open too at the same time.
Make notepad open C:\Windows\System.Ini
Make Shell Equal "11per.fu" ex. "Shell=11per.fu"
Save and exit :>
Make sure u don't need to reboot the computer before you leave.
Once you reboot... :>
usually networked comps stay on until the next day so this is easy :>

ok, i see the joke thing... but I dont think that I can use diffrent computers every day, and what you told, me what does it do?
When windows boots...it's being told what to do on the info saved on the hd (hard drive). The Shell Value is the command to open the Windows itself (kinda...).
So when it's booting
If it can't find the file you put there it gives you a message...
"The file 11per.fu is missing. Please reinstall Windows."
It's something like that. Can't remember the exact message. Usually the people who set up the network reinstall windows when they really can change something in a file. They r slugheads :>.

when you're going to log in to the school computer don't hit ok at the login window ... just hit Cancel and it'll have other settings than the ones inflicted (?)

I went in the store the other day...
there were Laptops, and Desktops,
when I went on the laptop, I wanted to see how the keyboard felt, so i tried creating a new text file, it wont let you, you cant create a new folder or anything, they wont even let you open notepad. Or My Computer,
but then I went over to the desktop computers, and I could access everything, RegEdit, MSConfig, etc etc(RegEdit and MSConfig are accessed from the start -> run dialog)
why do they do this to the laptops?????

most of the computers are running some crappy Best Buy program that you cant get out of, I tried Ctrl - Alt - Del 'ing it, but end task dialog would not even come up, then I tried Alt - Tab'ing out of it, I also tried hitting the windows key(to access the start menu), I cant get anything... do you think the store made a shell for windows, so you couldnt get anywhere?
or is it just a single program? if its just a single program, I would very much like to know how its made, because it is Very secure.
its fairly simple, just use the same way to by pass the windows screen saver password
Yeah I made a program like that too. It also blocks off the CD-Rom Drive so nothing autostarts and also locks windows files incase anything is running behind my program :).
Did you try Ctrl Esc...most of those tricks never work but this one sometimes works :).
Also why didn't you turn off the computer :)
Just say it rebooted for no reason...
The store people selling them know nothing about computers :).
I'll show u the code of my program if I find it. I'm on vacation on my SLOW notebook...otherwise I would be able to find the code and I would be playing online games :>.
