In Microsoft Word it happens when as we open some word documents, the path gets stored under the "File " .
Can anybody tell me how to delete such entries ? ?

wait...what? You are going to have explain more.
I assume you are talking about the MRU (Most Recently Used) list under the File menu?
Try searching the registry for one of the document names, it should lead you to the key that you need to clear out.
If you dont want to bother with the registry, just open a crapload of documents until the one you don't want in there is gone. :D
There is an option for it, in the Settings..
Don't know the English name, though.
I dont care about how to solve the problem. I just want to know why you want that document our of the MRU?

Actually you would get it at www.webroot.com...and Webattack is www.snapfiles.com now stop using the old name.
tools -> options -> general
uncheck Recently used file list
press ok then go back and re-check it, or leave it unchecked.. whatever
