- Try some other frequency
- Check if the resolution isn't to high for you screen
- get new drivers
Sounds like you're using Generic drivers, like Lightning said, get some drivers for your graphics card and/or your monitor if Windows hasn't detected it.
How old is your monitor? And always use up to date drivers
You could also try using the horizontal and vertical adjust buttons on your monitor.Quote:

Well, I've ben playing around with it for a while now and come to find out, the max resolution is 1024 x 768. It's on my laptop (vpr matrix). I hate it.
So anyways I guess thats it, huh. Theres no way I can work around this is there?
Maybe, some how change a setting or fool the thing to think it can support a higher resolution?
It just sucks using VS with such a low resolution. I like to see more of my code at once.
If you want to attempt to trick it you can TRY THIS: Goto the device manager and delete your video drivers and then get on the net and download a video drvier for the video card above yours. For example: if you have a ATI Radeon 9600 download ATI Radeon 9700 drivers. Repeat proccess for your monitor...All else fails hook up a faithful CRT.
