Is there possible to install 2 display card on a PC, connect to 2 monitors and work it as a standalone desktop? (with own input device - keyboard & mouse to control each monitor)

why dont you try it...im thinking a big no though. You could just buy a video card that has duel monitor support.
There's a card that does exactly that. Makes one computer two computers. I'd google it.
If it was a windows server, in theory you could use Terminal Services too :)Quote:

Oh wait...you wan't to have 2 seperate desktops...nevermind, never tried.sorry
I use extended desktop on windows with the built in screen an external monitor plugged into the vga socket on the back. I can split the screens up and have different images/windows etc on each monitor, but to the best of m knowledge there is no way of making it act like two seperate computers with a different input device for each monitor.
So basically you want 1 computer to function as 2? You want 1 actual PC but 2 monitors and 2 sets of mice and keyboards? Because if that is what you want I see no way that is possible? You would have to have 2 different operating systems running at once so you and your friend dont get in each other's way. My opinion on this matter is: just build a low end machine for other useres...It's easier and wont cost much, this way no one derives from your system resources.
