I’m trying to add shortcuts to my menu like &File should display File with underscore under “F”. When I run the program I can’t see the underscore but I have the functionality Alt+F will activate the File menu. Any body now how to fix this.

I dont know if you really can fix that or not... if you press the alt key once then the underscores appear, but if not they dont. I think it's just the way the .NET menu works...Quote:

umm.
it shows the underscore for me.
are you sure you used &File? because one time i thought i used the & but didn't see it in my menu, but alt + f worked. i looked back and saw that i didn't have & with F, so i added the &, which fixed the problem with the _ not showing.
hmm maybe it has to do with windows and visual styles then. Right now my internet explorer doesnt show any of the shortcut underlines either, but when I hold alt, they appear. I think you could change this somewhere in the windows registry if I remember correctly, hmm..:rolleyes:Quote:

Hi.
In Win XP and Win 2000 you can select wehter to show it all the time or only when alt is pressed.
Right-click the desktop
Select "Properties"
Select "Appearance"
Select "Effects"
The last option should be what you're looking for.
Sorry if the captions I mentioned are wrong; My XP is Danish, so I just guessed what they would be in english.
But it should be sufficient.
If that's not it, then I give up... :bigyello:
