Wrong Date Format
Hey guys, I have had this problem for a while and haven't been able to figure it out. For some reason, all timestamps on my computer have the wrong date format. For example, Feb. 23, 2004 shows up as 23/02/04 instead of 02/23/04. Even when I use the Date function in Visual Basic, it shows this format. At first, I thought it was a wrong setting in the time/date properties, though I checked and I have the date and time correct, and I have the timezone set to 'Eastern time' because I live in Pennsylvania, USA. I am using Windows 98SE.

Your dates a displaying in UK format. I think its a lot easier like that :D
Anyay to change you need to go to the Regional Options control panel. Ensure that its set it English (United States). Then go to the date tab - from here you should be able to change the way your system displays the date. Change it to:
mm/dd/yyyy

Thank you very much, this has been bothering me for a while. I have been in Regional Settings before, but just checked the 'Regional Settings' tab, thinking that if I set it to English(United States) it calibrated everything to US standards.
