I was able to successfully install my application on the client's PC without any major :D problems!
Early in the installation, it did say that a needed file was missing (maybe the DCOM), but it chugged along anyway! :) I guess because this system also has Windows '98, it was able to handle the installation without that file (whatever it was).
Dimava, FYI, the CAB file contains all of the information in the SETUP folder in a compressed format in order to make installation easier. I couldn't imagine doing this installation with having the needed files in a CAB format. If you've been doing it (and maybe it's not necessary with the Wise Installer), you have my admiration! By the way, thanks for the link. I'll definitely check it out because I'm not too happy with the P&D's performance, although it got done what I needed to get done.
I'm still not sure what DCOM is. :confused:
