I don' think you can that. Unless you use a viritual machine. And that will be slow....but maybe anyone else have a better idea...
You can run it under Wine, it runs pretty well I've heard (http://appdb.winehq.org/).
Alternatively, look at HBasic or Gambas for a basic-like language for Linux that's native. It makes a good transition to C++ ;)

No idea...never used it....but it was recomnended for me when I said some bad things about Linux...:D....I only use GCC and Qt on Linux anyway....

No ****ing way....give me one reason....QT is soooo nice...best thing ever happend to C++. It's so simple, and a garbage collector...:D...Even Adobe are using it...;)
Yeah, but GTK is beautiful :)
Norewgians are beautiful, and QT is made in Norway...:D...and it is smart too...try to find that combination with a girl...;)
