I'm not really sure what kind tools would provide that info, and besides, the info that it would provide would most likely come from the company anyway.

If you want information on a company, you ask them. Simple as that. Case closed.

Well, it may be a long shot, but you could ask them. ;)

Which country???
in the UK i beleive there is a 'companies house' which stores legal licenses and public records for every company.
I would be surprised if other countries didnt have it

Try it anyway you might get lucky ;) ;)
Regarding financial data and general information there is a huge database run by Wharton School of Uinversity of Pennsylvania called Compustat. There are some others too that collectively gathered in WRDS. But mostly US companies are there. Those databases are very expensive and not all the major universities in North America have access to that. I have access to some parts of it.Quote:

I want a tool to get some info about a company in US..
I want it for FREE.. like Born date.. this is what I want..
So how to find that?
Waiting your help..
Regards..
If the company is on a U.S. stock market, you should probably be able to get the info on the company under the Freedom of Information Act from the SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commision). I think SEC has control over all info on companies as far as history and financial statements. Many stock market sites have historical info. I would expect that these are based on SEC reports because they are used to evaulate stock price. I don't know of a "tool" that will check this data, but you should be able to get it (unless the comapny filed false SEC reports). :)
