Why C# is named like this(C-Sharp) and not like C-Hesh?
Because h@sh is common parlance for illegal herbage.
C# is also a musical notation, and its a play on words for being at the "sharp end" of programming technologies.
Thats why.
I thought it was because MS's marketing team wants all the drugs for themselves :confused:

I kinda thought it was the natural progression of C...
like in the beginning there was C
then there was OOP C called C++
and now there is Microsofts .Net version of C++ (supposed to be better isn't it Bill??) so it's now C#

Actually, wouldn't it be more like:
I the beginning there was C
then there was OOP C called C++
Then there was a runtime version of C++ called Java
Then there was a Microsoft version of Java called C#....
(Again, I didn't post this ;) )
