Anyone knows if bittorent client supports VPN Connection (Satellite Connection) ?
I don't see why not. If the internet works using the satellite connection then there is no reason why BitTorrent won't work as it just requires TCP/IP.
I'm not sure since my friend got an issue while downloading with bt .It works without VPN connection . I thought it's because of VPN establishes private -encrypted- tunnel connections so this will hinder clients to upload files from his computer which is against bt idea (the more you share , the more you download) .:rolleyes:Quote:

in theory it should be fine as it interacts with the web via TCP/IP which is what bittorrent uses. As for encodeing it doesnt matter as it will be decoded when it reaches the sat server in order to be compatable with the internet. :) :) :)
I'll tell him this and try again . :)
