From 1.0 to 1.1 version
Hi guys. I've got VS .NET 2002, and I've downloaded the 1.1 .NET framework version. When using sqlConnection object and trying to open a new connection, it says "Invalid PInvoke metadata format" or anything like this.
Does it have to do with using .NET 2002 and v.1.1? I've browsed the forum here and find out that some of you guys say you can't install 1.1 framework version with vs.net 2002. It's just like this? Vs.net 2002 = v1.0 and vs.net 2003 = v1.1 or v.1.0?
Should I uninstall v1.1 version since I'm not going to upgrade to vs.net 2003 now?
Thank you all

VS .NET 2002 builds against Fx 1.0 unless explicitly mentioned and vice versa for VS .NET 2003. But it is not that straight forward, I have faced some weird behaviour. You can have both Fx 1.0 and Fx 1.1 side by side.
