Please tell me how to create my own desktop using VB and API coding. This desktop should be at the top of the windows desktop that means windows default desktop should not come in picture.It should have all the facility of windows default desktop.

Well, I don't think anybody can give you a straight answer. Creating you own desktop is a major task and involves a whole load of things i.e. you would have to create you own start bar, have an icon for My Computer and everything. IT'S A BIG JOB! I don't think its worth while, if you have Win98 you can enable Active Desktop and have a HTML file for your desktop which could be very useful.
