Printing Sale Invoice in vb/Crystal is slower than dos based applications

when i am printing invoice thru vb based application it is slower than printing it from dos based application I think so there must be some solution which will allow me to enhance the sped of printing can somebody look in to this

Are you printing on preformatted stationary with a dot-matrix?

The answer is probably that Crystal is crap but there are ways to speed up printing. Some more details would be helpful so we know what happening.

I think so u r very near to solution for my problem
I am printing on a pre printed stationery & with dot matrix Printer

The reason is usually that Crystal like to try and force the font type and style. Make sure you carefully select the font and remove things like Lines and other graphical elements from the pages.

I'm not at work right now so I can't tell you the font that we use but you should be able to find out easily enough from your printer.
