Creating a Simple ASP Form and Set the Session In It

Hi Friends
This is my first attempt in creating a web base application \
Database is uploaded some where and i need to get the max record save the Next Record .
Also i have to set the Session for the user \
i hope u guys will help me as soon as possible...

SELECT MAX(fieldname) FROM tablename;

will get you the maximum id in the table.

What code do you have so far, though?
