Sharing files on network
I have a strange problem. My network is working, I can share the internet. But the host computer can't see the client computer. So I cannot share files. When I try to access a shared folder on the host computer from the client, it says I don't have permission, although I set all my computers to log in as administrators. Also, there are no computers listed under "Computers near me" folder.
This is most likely a permission problem, how do I set each computer to allow access to each other?
Thanks.

You have File and Printer Sharing Enabled yeah?
What OS's are the computers? I had a similar problem where one of the computers couldn't see the others, so I had to delete everything from Network Setup in the Control panel and then once I had everything setup again it worked great. :)
If your using XP, make sure your using Simple File Sharing when you share the folders, then you don't have to worry about permissions. :)

If a computer doesn't automatically show up when browsing the Network try searching the network for it by computer name or ip. That should work then from there it will ask you to log on to it to reach any shares.

Just go to:
1. Start > Run
2. Type "\\192.168.0.x" (without quotes) where x is the final number.
3. Press enter.
If you have a password set (which you should have) it'll ask you to enter it. All the shares should appear.
Woot :p
