Write protected in Vb.Net

Is it Possible to protect the program write protected in VB.Net , If possible then please give me the process.

If you mean protect it against crackers , then nothing will stop them but it may delay them if they are interested in your program:D . This issue was discussed multiple times ,a quick search would bring it up .

I have downloaded a project which is write protected , I need to change its source , Please do help me to remove the write protected knotch.

Maybe the attribute of that project is readonly or does it contain a license ?:rolleyes:
