En alle andere VB-fanaten die nederlands lezen:
Ik heb een paar dagen geleden een vraag neergelegd over textboxen, maar ik geloof niet dat iemand begreep waar ik het over had, ik kreeg in ieder geval geen reply.
Dus bij deze in het Nederlands, misschien kom ik dan beter over.
Ik heb een applicatie gekoppeld aan een Access database.
Ik heb zelf een form gemaakt, gekoppeld, en liep ik tegen het probleem aan dat, als ik een record ging aanmaken en ik tikte iets in het 1e veld van dat record, zodra ik de tab toets aanraakte het veld weer leeg werd en dus uiteindelijk niets opgeslagen werd.
Toen heb ik een form gegenereerd met de wizard. Dat ging beter. Maar helaas, dat werkt nu ook niet meer. Alle formulieren die ik aan maak, hebben hetzelfde probleem, dus ik neig naar een algemene instelling, maar ik kan hem niet vinden? Heb je enig idee?

Ärligt talat är detta inte alls någon översättning av ovanstående därför att jag inte begriper ett ord av holländska. Vilket jag tror att det är i all fall. Hur som helst så fick jag pränta ner lite skit här på mitt eget språk och det kändes skönt.

Persoonlijk werk ik nooit met de Data Control, maar wel met OpenRecordSet, OpendDatabase, ... je hebt daar veel meer controle over.
Pay attention to the Option Property of the Data Control, the recordset needs to be "Updateable" !

Well, because I don't have an answer to the question (when I use databases I usually don't use data controls) I will try to translate the dutch into english (please forgive me my errors). Perhaps vbMarketer knows the answer.

I posted a question a few days ago about textboxes, but I don't beleave anybody understood what I was talking about, at least I didn't get a reply.
So now I will try it in dutch, maybe I can explain myselve better this way.
I linked an application to an Access database.
I made a form, linked it, and encountered the problem that, when I inserted a record and typed something in the first field, as soon as I hit the tab key the first field became empty again, and in the end nothing got saved.
Then I generated a form with the wizard. That went better. But alas, now it doesn't work anymore also. All forms I make have the same problem, so I tend to some general setting, but I can't find it. Do you have any idea?

Personally I don't work with the Data Control, but I use OpenRecordSet, Opendatabase, ... you have much more control over it that way.

Well, I made some progress. The problem only occurs when the table is empty, as soon as a record exists there is no problem anymore...

Check the RecordCount property.
If this is <= 0 then don't perform any DB actions like MoveFirst, MoveNext, etc.
Else always do a .MoveLast followed by .MoveFirst, to refresh the DB.
