I was recently telling a college that I had bought a book called beginning ASP 3.0 by Wrox and was looking to get a new skill under my belt.
He commented that ASP will be gone in 2 years time and wouldn't take of. This left me a bit defalted as I have just spent 30 quid and thought I was learning something quite usefull.
What are the thoughts of you guys about the future of ASP and vb script, can it compete with php etc.
Any comments would help a lot
