I know sparc assembly because I had to take the class and windows assembly seems odd and different.

Yes I guess windows assembly is different but it would probably find sparc assembly different and odd too. :D But like art_sands mentioned in another thread its not that hard. Check out the art of assembly language windows 32 bit edition at webster.cs.ucr.edu

HLA = High Level Assembly. Its something that AoA uses and it is not true assembler.
