i just think the answer is
y = 36 - 2x
cuz there's not enough information... right?

If you have two unknown variables, you need two equations with those unknowns in them.
so, yes, not enough info.
yeah, that's what i thought.. thanks, i feel like a *******, i really am good at math.. i just do some things which affect my memory at times...
