Guys,


i am kinda in low self-esteem state right now... due to losses in my specialized field of battledom... another word = loser.

Dear all, what can you tell me about life? What is life in exact? How to live a life? Why is shy exist? Why is shy a factor ? why?????

Expertise?? mind drop in some useful tips on how to live a better life without "negative" ? Please tell me how you guys live with your confident that you had? What is an expert life after losses
???? is there even life after the aftermath?

The point is to die, pretty much.

Pretty much, this is what I think, (its still a work in progress)

Life by itself is pointless, since, we have no purpose, other than to die. By interacting with others, we help give ourselves a semi-purpose of sorts, to love, hate, you get the picture. By doing that, we give someone else a purpose as well. Thus why those that feel lonely are more likely kill themselves perhaps? I dunno, as I said, still a work in progess. :p

If your going to have any purpose, I should think it would be reproduce to help the human species continue to survive?


Of course, I'm not saying to go and kill yourself, as why ruin your one and only chance of experiencing something as interesting as life?

You could be a building block in something greater. There is always a possibility that the world is not as we perceive it, and that the reality is something stranger than we can conceive.

I was just thinking this morning that I hope there is at least consciousness after death, because it would be really nice to see the reaction of the simplistic religeous zealots.

5 years ago I had no job. Was completely depressed. Was heavily bad in debt. And to top it all off, my physical health was failing. I wa suffering from Spinal Stenosis where my spinal chord was being squeezed by my spine. But I had no way to afford to do anything about. I fought and studied and learned programming, and got in a good job entry level programmer. After about a month there, my body had enough and I started to go paralyzed. The day I went into surgery, my insurance kicked in. Now they drilled out my back, and in the process damaged my spinal chord some. I can still walk, but I am always hurting, and have some trouble walking due to some sense loss in my legs and foot drop syndrome. But, I still have my job I enjoy doing despite my problems. I even keep a fairly positive outlook on my life despite it all.

Did I ever give up? No. Neither should anyone else because IO can do it, certainly anyone can.

If by shy you mean being an introvert, there is nothing wrong with that at all. You can be shy and still be happy, being intimidated by something that your better than is a problem.

I have my confidence basicially because I am pretty much the smartest person on the planet and I'm damn sexy. There are many who have tried to question/doubt my smartestness and sexyistness and they have fallen with the other nonbelievers.

the meaning of life is to make others happy. What their meaning of life is beats me.

I'm not even going to pretend I even followed what the original post said. You want to know the meaning of life? Take a philosophy class. They'll teach you everything you need to know. Think you have questions now, just wait until the philosophy snobs get through with you?

people! this man needs the girlfriend treatment to enlighten this pour soul.

Life is supposed to be full of these ups and downs. It's all about how you look at things. If you can take things in a humorous manner, then you've got a great life ahead... you'll be laughing to your grave. If on the other hand, you choose a very pessimistic view, you won't be able to look at the better things that do happen to you, you may even miss a couple chances at that.

And being an introvert is perfectly OK. The only thing you may be apprehensive about is what others around you would think of that. Thing is, why waste your energy on them when they can't even understand what a person has to go through, the things that make them an introvert in the first place?

Just do the things that make you feel better. Volunteering like aaron suggested, does actually help. I've tried it, several times. Just find yourself something which makes you feel better.

i find myself recharged after reading all the experiences and facts that you guys had... in life... Yeah... life is how a person sees it..

Effort + Never Give Up + Positive + Feel Comfortable + "ALL OF YOU, my Guardian Angels" = Life is harmony................. i am gonna stand up and fight fight fight until the very end... ok

I will try myself to volunteer in some good and caring deeds.... to see if its what you guys are saying... and Danny J .... may be you are right... until now i still haven;t got a gal fren... hahahaha may be that is all i leave to fate ...

Anyway, having all of you guys here, its my pride. I wont forget this....

Starting from now on... I will fight like a real man and live like an expert with confident....

Your life's meaning is what you make it.

Your are part of a species. You are a life form. Cooperation with other life forms is essential.

Proper diet and exercise will make your life much more enjoyable.

If you have a problem dealing with people in general I can suggest the following book: How to Win Friends and Influence People written by: Dale Carnegie.

In a nutshell it provides methods for:

Six ways to make people like you.

Twelve ways to win people to your way of thinking.

And perhaps most importantly,

Nine ways to change people without arousing resentment.

You'd be surpirsed by the massive amount of successful businessmen who read this book monthly. And it's more about how to be a manager... than a manipulator.

It gives you basic guidelines in dealing with people, to be truly successful you'll also have to find your own path.

Everyone has their way to do something. But consider this analogy:

Life is like a race track, there are shortcuts, and the long way. While one person may take a shortcut here, and may end up ahead of you. It's often better for yourself to continue on your own path, than turn around, and take more time doing it someone else's way. This book is more about general philosophy, about the basic human reaction. It's not absolute, but it should help.

I was talking to my friend about this sort of topic the other day, and she said that having a gf is definitely a good way of cheering yourself up, feeling needed, etc.

Of course, don't go rushing off trying to find any old chick, cos I doubt you'll get the feeling that your after.

(and none of the above comments are refering to sex/etc you dirty little geeks.)

While I won't get into the details of what happened, I'll just give you some advice: It's better to prevent disaster, than to do something stupid like rushing out to find a girl. They're dumb, pretentious, and most of them are never satisfied. Sure it applies to guys too, and that's what makes guys and girls incompatible.

So, it's best to avoid them altogether, and thereby avoid the disaster. Find an interest in other things, like computers, drugs, smoking, television, politics, psychology, whatever. These can keep you going on for a lifetime, whereas girls get boring after marriage ;)

Maybe you get evil women because that's what you're attracted to.

Look at women who repeatedly go back to men who beat them. Almost all of who we are is what we experience. People develop behaviors similar to that which they experience.

A very simple form of this... Think of slogons... Woah! How many you got?! :lol:

Knowing yourself is the most important thing you can do in life. And accepting yourself, even though you're stupid, a tade hypocritical, and ultimatey ignorant of so many things... yet still be able to love yourself, then you'll be able to find, and share your love with a special someone.

A lot of people say wisdom is realizing what you don't know. But I don't wholely agree. I think a better way to put it is wisdom is realizing what you don't know, but retaining the desire, and actively pursuing new knowledge.

2 ways to live life :

1) don't bother with the deep philosophical stuff and live it as you please.
2) Grab it by the throat and keep shaking it until you get your money back.
