Hey. How can I get the little control panel to show up when I press ctrl alt del instead of getting task manager. It's the menu with the "lcok computer" option. ;)
btw, what is the name of that Linux version that runs off teh cd. Not the gentoo. I've never actually seen the words written but it sonunds like noppix?

Anyway, disable the point and click login and it'll change that for you.
You can also hit Windows Key + L

Version of linux on cd...hmm let me think...all of them.
sorry to be rude but what did you mean run off the cd?
If you are using Windows XP, you have to turn off Fast User Switching.
Goto Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change the way users logon/logoff and uncheck fast user switching. That should then bring up the Windows Security panel.
Nevr mind i found it. The sad part is i wasn't looking for it. It's called knoppix-std
