install VS.NET in the same PC with VS6

Is it possible to install VS.NET in the same PC with VS6? .. please advise .. thanks

Yes it is possible. I install VS6 first then VS .NET. So far I haven't encountered any problems. :)

Thanks .. but by the way I install it on Win 98 (I had VS6 ) .. I followed the step by step instruction for installing VS.NET on Win98 .. but it failled .. I don't understand why it happened .. could you please give me guidance how to install VS.NET on Win 98 .. it seems like have to pass some steps before installing VS.NET on Win 98 .. any suggestion?

yah it is possible to load the vb6 and vb.net

but first load the vb6 and then vs.net
but dont overrid the dll

and may be pleadse load in to the separate drive

Yes, it doesnt work on win98, you need to upgrade to winNT/2000/XP (not home) or 2003.

Yes, .NET applications will run on Win98.

If you check the link I posted (there was a reason for it :) took me 5 mins to find), it has a table showing which parts of .net run on each OS.
