Actually .NET is only compatible with 98 and up and is not supported on 95.
Inorder for a program to run the computer has to have the .NET framework installed though, right?

It is compatible with win 98 but I came across issues with Crystal Reports. If you use crystal reports make sure that you have dgbhelp.dll in the windows\system32 folder. You can copy this file from any win2000 machine, it is not installed by win 98.
Another problem I am encountering is that crystal viewer will throw an error that it has to do with fonts, the first time I call the viewer, pressing ok will clear the error and will not show up again. I think this has to do with the net framework. As regards the rest I did not encounter problems but I am still testing.
