Hey Everyone,
Have a question that will make me look like an idiot... I have a program that uses the Microsoft Internet Controls (Cring), problem is that it works great when I compile it on Windows 2000 on other Windows 2000 machines, and when I compile on XP it works great for XP Machines, how do I get it to work on any operating system with that control?
I am using install shield express.

Should work irrespective of what machine you compile it on... :confused:
You mean like every other reference! :) I wish! Been at this 15 years and have never had so much trouble out of a single control... Found some info on MSDN that said I needed get some files for distribution, did that and it didn't help. All it says is object can't be found, if you recompile on that operating system it will work fine on that operating system.

Your problem is not Internet Controls... It's deployment of your app. You need a clear understanding of what is expected for a VB app to be deployed. ie. Installer, VB runtime files etc...
VBRuntime Files is your hang-up, maybe even an installer. You never mentioned how you moved the app around.
