I think my powersupply is like 300W, I had to use a powersplitter cable for my extra harddrive, and I'm just wondering if this is ok?
its been working fine for a few months now. I have 7200rpm hdd, a 5600rpm hdd, a cdrom, and a dvdrom. is that too much for the powersupply?
I assume you're using SCSI...?
well, I've heard SCSI a billion times, but since I dont know what exactly it is, I assume that it's not what I'm using:D
Hmmm well with IDE there is only space for 4 IDE devices.
So, for most normal computers, that means a combination of up to 4 hard-drives, cd/dvd roms/rws, TBUs, zip drives... etc.
