I'm confused, I'm setting the icon of a MDI form which is the main form of my app and then compiling it. The icon shows up in the title bar, and I can see the correct icon when I press alt-tab.... but the exe file does not have an icon. What can I be possibly doing wrong? I tried a different icon as well. The icon of the exe is the generic stupid icon that VS uses ( a blue/blank window):confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
Mine does the same, I think it's another option rather than the current form's icon

Right click on your project, properties, click build and choose the application's icon
thanks alot! I was thinking that there is something wrong wiht my project. I didnt know there was another option for icon. hehe, that's probably the correct way to set the app's icon. I guess VS will choose the main form's icon by default if it's not a MDIQuote:
