What are vxd files in Windows ?

seriously..... first nothing to do with VB and second a SIMPLE google search or ANY search engine would tell you that vxd is a virtual device driver.

I downloaded a program from "freevbcode.com" which use Smartvsd.vxd file to show low level hard disk information like how many heads, Hard Disk's physical Sr.No etc. If this file exists, then code works else not.
