what would this equation be simplified?
i keep messing up some place!Code:lim x->3 [[1/(x+1)]-1/4]/(x-3);
forget that it is a limit problem, and can you please show steps so I can see where i'm messing up at?

Here is my steps:
find common bottom:
[4/4(x+1) - (x+1)/4(x+1)]/(x-3)
[4-(x+1)/4(x+1)]/(x-3)
[4-x-1/4(x+1)]/(x-3)
[3-x/4(x+1)] (x-3)/1 //was 1/(x-3)
[3x-x^2+3x]/4(x+1)
now i see that is totally wrong, and I don't see which step where i made my mistake.
