I really hate the word wrapping that the VB.Net editor does. How can I disable this?

Its one of the options, just go to the options menu and turn it off. From the Main Menu->Tools->Options->Text Editor->All Languages->Word Wrap

It word wraps? never did that to me....

Didnt think to look in 'All Languages'

It should be under the individual languages also since you can set it for each lingo seperately.
