when you type something in the address bar in explorer it still stays there!!! how do i erase it???? I tryied emptying out the temp folder and the histry folder but nothing happened!! As soon as i start typping a word, it brings downa combobox with my previous enteries!!! someone help!!!
Goto Tools and then Internet Options. Then click on the Content tab. Click on AutoComplete and then Clear Forms. This should get rid of the text. If your history is cleared then only the title of your Favorites will still show up in the Address bar as you type.
You said you emptied the Temp folder. Did you do this manually? If so, I suggest you let IE do it. Go to Tools > Internet Options. Select the General tab and click on Delete Files...
