How to Desing 3-tier architecture for ASP.net Application

I am very New to ASP.net.
I hv done very big project in ASP,sqlServer,COM(VB 6), COM+
Purly 3-tier Archeture. Now i am planning to Change the Project into ASP.net.
I don't mind to Redesign UserInterFace and all. I am little worring about Middle Tier
I gone throw some of the Documents in MSDN site . Some times they said u can approach COM+.
in Some where ( at the end of the Document) Better u do everything in .net it self .

It souds like Hv a cigarette u wil get Relaxation. ( Somking is injure to u r helth).

I want to take decession How to approach this project ?
