Open Outlook express

Hi all,
Is there a way to open outlook express from a web site?
what i need to do is someone logs on a web mail account he needs to enter user name and password then open his email
i need to make a link to open outlook from the email page after hr logged in the user and password,

something like opening a news account.
news:microsoft.public.windows.inete....outlookexpress
my problem is 50% of tech support for a isp i work is "how to setup outlook express?"

This is standard functionality from Windows. It has nothing to do with coding. If you have Notes as your standard mail client on your machine, then it will open notes if you click on a link which contains mailto.

The sameting for a link which contains news.
