VB - Lisajous Patterns
Yesterday.. I though of doing something related to electronics.
Thought about CRO.. and the days I used to play with it in school days..
So here it is an entertainment plus an easy way to understand the working of H Sync and V Sync in Television.
Enjoy,

An error log for the form is generated when the form is run.
Line 9: Property Icon in Form1 had an invalid file reference.

I didn't know what a lissajous figure was so I went here.

I made a program that does something similar to this using sine and cosine.

Hi
Hi,
For a CRO (Cathode Ray Osciloscope) We feed in sine wave to its Horiz and vert Sync By varying the Phase and frequency it given different patterns..
You may plot it on a grap sheet to calculate .....
Sine and Cosine are same wave witha 90 degree phase shift.
So use a sine or a cosine it makes no difference... for a angular velocity (ofcource the phase differes)..
One more thing to add..
sine and cosine are like the amplitude plot against time.
we may assume the needle of the clock rotating at a constant speed (angular velocity). if its projected amplitude is drawn against time we get a sine wave..
I wrote these info for those who would read this thread for knowledge..
Thanks and Regards,
Pradeep
