would this (see url below) work to power a regular desktop system? the specs are 800 mhz (AMD K6) with 320mb of ram. I plan to use one harddrive and on cd drive. It will be powered off of a car battery in a car.

I don't thing that it will work, it is only 70Watts maximum. I think ou configuration needs atleast 150-200 Watt. But you coukd measure it but that is quite complicated. Maybe you could ask them
do you know where i can find a power supply that runs off of 12 vdc that will output 200 watts?
Best method would be to use an inverter. Computers use a range of voltages like +12VDC, -12VDC, +5VDC, -5VDC and so-on.
