hi,
i did try emailing megatron but you didn't reply,
do any of you know a way of accessing the ar artist name and track names off of a music cd with cd text on it, then putting all of this information into a text box or file in the similar format as cdplayer.ini in windows
i am VERY grateful for any help in any form

p.s. the person that i am weriting this program for doesn't want to use CDDB becasue they don't have a modem (sorry)

What, the CD itself has the track / artist info on it?

yeah some music cds have this information on them and all of the music cds that i create (Complimations with the artist permission of course) have all of this "cd text" on them

How do you do that..via code or just via your cdCreation program?

hi yeah all of this is done through the cd creator, there is a tick box that you check and you put the names in so when you put the cd in your computer it automatically puts in the information or if you have an expensive stereo this feature is part of the cd player
