I build application in vb.net using remoting, and I think that remoting is great thing especial for using in n-tier application. I'm wondering what's is similar (for remoting) in vb6.0? How to use remote objects in vb6.0, and is that possible if I have objects (in dll) on one machine and I don't want to have this .dll on another-client machine?

I think COM/COM+ is the closest thing to remoting but they are a bit different. However using COM you can use a dll or component that is stored on another machine on the LAN.

Can you use some .dll which is stored on ahother machine without registering that .dll on your machine?

No I believe you still have to register it on each machine that will use it, even though it is physically stored else where.
