Anything bad about STR?

Is there anything bad about putting the computer to STR mode?(Suspend to Ram)

There is nothing physically bad about it. However, it's not a perfect science and there are times when the computer just won't seem to want to wake up. Same issues apply with hibernation (Suspend to Disk)

If we are talking about a laptop, remember that when in suspend mode you are still running off the batteries (however at just a fraction of the power).

I never had a problem with that one. Always comes back nicely.

But sometimes it feels a bit uncomfortable to me. I don't know why...:confused:
