new release

What happens if vs.net 2003 is installed on an xp pro machine which already has vs.net (the first version)?
Will there be only vs.net in the machine and the previous .net version get uninstalled? and will the present programs written work with the new vs.net 2003

When I first got my VS.NET 2003 CDS , I installed them besides VS.NET 2002 . Both were running fine .

for the second question , VS.NET 2002 Projs will be converted to (2003) if you opened them from VS.NET 2003 . But you can't do the opposite (2003 ---> 2002) unless you used the tool under my sign.

I have both installed and both work fine.
