the C drive is now at 98% of capacity where as drive D is empty
is there anyway of deleting the D partition and pulling the extra over to the pri partion C *WITHOUT LOOSING ANY DATA*

PartitionMagic can do what you want...or you could just start storing data on D instead :)

Why should you lose your data ? I always resize my partition without problems . I use partition magic . You can resize the C: partition to 12 or whatever . The data on the other drive will be moved to the back . Although , I don't garantee that this will not make you in troubles but most of the time , it works fine.
