I've been to all those crappy clipart and icon sites but they never have a large variety of content. Are there any good sources on the internet that contain free graphics, animations, icons, etc. for software programs? Thanks in advance.

Not a load which I've seen, 1/2 of them are paying ones, links to other sites or bring up 10000 banner pop-ups.
I gave up myself & went to a computer fair - you can pick up 3 cd's of them for something ridiculous like £5 or £10 at the decent ones...
I agree with alex_read , it's hard to get them esp icons but for better results , go to Google.com and switch to 'images' and then type in your keyword , see if this helps .
