tough question!

i always wondered who you could browse a network box and it would return only sql servers. the reason why i ask is that i am trying to figure out how you would get an app to find all the SQL servers on your local network segment and then populate them to a combobox on a logon screen so you can select which sql server you would like to connect to log in to. i would love to get some code! if not the theory or an explaination on how to do it would be great! :) :) :
