Sending an sms to a cellphone

Please help, I need a Visual Basic code to send an sms to a cellphone. I've been trying to write this code for a long time but I'm not coming right, I'm also not sure which references to activate under Projects in Visual Basic when I design the program.

When you say you want to send an SMS to a cell phone, how do you want to do this?

I mean do you want your application to be stand alone or access a cell phone to send the SMS?
