I've been using mschart for a simple line chart program. I can control every facet, fonts, gridlines, background etc but the one fundamental thing I can't seem to control is the color of the actual series lines from within the programme. When I set the series colors in the dialog box within program design they appear ok but when the program runs they seem to take on a mind of their own.
I would have thought that this would be one of the most simple things to control, maybe I'm missing something obvious but I'd be very grateful if anyone has any suggestions as to how to make it work.

I feel the MS Chart control is - as we like to say in england A*** over tit
as it seems that if you your only graphing one series then the colors seem to stick the same and if you seperate the info into seperate series of one item each then you end up with the correct colors.

I think they have a tutorial on this site to create your own graph control. Maybe have a look at that
