recently while typing , the numeric part of keypad on the right side does not works. but it works while playing games.
Y doesnt only the right side numeric keypad doesnt works ?
how can i rectify this problem ?

Have you checked if the num lock is on or off...:p
Try reinstalling latest drivers from the manufacturers. Still doesn't work then try some friend's keyboard and see if it works. If yes then you might want to check the keyboard itself...
