MSDN was made for Visual Studio 6.
What is the equivalent for Visual Studio .Net?
I am looking for the help file when I don't know how to use a particular method in VB.Net.

MSDN is also for .Net
If you have the disks, then anything later than October 2001 is for .Net. Online has both mixed together.
If you want to d/l them , they are here :
Disk One
Disk Two
Disk Three
That's the most update version of MSDN .It's MSDN April 2003 .
Greatly appreciate your answers to both of you.
I think those links had been broken.
No , I've just tested them they are working .Use any download program for that .Quote:

Strange,
I still could not save the image to my hard drive. Do you have to be a member of MSDN?
No . When I click each one of them , I can even retrieve their sizes .
Thanks Pirate,
I finally got it download. I used Nero to burn the image. :)
If I install this, can I uninstall the old MSDN 6.0a? Will the April 2003 also cover the old Visual Studio 6 too or is it made just for the .Net platform?
Thanks
I've seen some VB6 Topics esp on ADO and DAO . The rest of the content is on .NET Tech. You don't need to uninstall MSDN 6.0 , the new one should integrate with the old one .
Thanks!
I know this is a bit late, but the third cd doesn't appear to be working (File Not Found), anyone got any ideas??
April isnt the most recent versionQuote:

I'm not really sure if they put it for the public, I've only seen the april version on their website.
Can you give us a link for the latest version them please?
well I meant to say that I've never seen a link to any version of MSDN, the only links I've seen were links to the April version.... I get the other versions from newsgroups, hopefully legal:rolleyes:Quote:

I downloaded the October, but I never even used it.
The links are SOMEWHERE on Microsoft's site. Took forever to dig into it and find them, dunno where they are off hand right now.
I'll look later

I wasn't talking about April
Regardless of the month, you want to keep up to date with this. Eventually, these files will become useful. I currently find them pretty bad. The documentation for .NET is poor and incomplete. However, I have great faith in the future.
Please suggest how to use these IMG files (MSDN download files)
Either use a program like Nero 6 or maybe Alcohol 120% and mount them to a virtual drive, or burn them.Quote:

I would just use a newsgroup search site. This is a simple one, there are many more: http://alt.binaries.nl

If you look at the link you'd see that he linked directly to Microsoft's website. He can't grant you permission to download something from Microsoft's website.Quote:

A quick Google search reveals the following:

MSDN Library for Visual Studio 2003
