ProgressBar array

I need to put many ProgressBars in a form. I created a control object for them so I can change their values by for loop:

Dim progCtrls() As Control = {ProgressBar1, ProgressBar2, ProgressBar3}

The problem is that I can't get to the value property of the ProgressBars in the control object:
progCtrls(i).

Can anyone help on this?

You have to cast it.

Try Object instead of Control .

I tryed object insted of control and it did work!! :)

the casting didn't work for some reason

Its because the mentioned cast was written backwards and a little off (no offense):
Ctype(ProgressBar, progCtrls(i)).Value


should be

        Dim c As ProgressBar
        Dim x As Integer
        For x = 0 To progCtrls.Length - 1
            c = CType(progCtrls(x), ProgressBar)
            c.Value = x 'or some value
 
        Next

DirectCast(progCtrls, ProgressBar).Value = 200

Yea actually Pirate's way is better performance wise, as long as the two objects are the same type.
