Hey all,
I'm trying to compact a database in VB6. It won't let me do that until the .mdb file is closed. I can get the database closed with code in most cases, but not after I view a report generated by the Data Report tool. When the report is generated, the database will not close until the application is terminated. How in the world can I do this?
The name of my command in the Data Environment is Catalog, so I've tried:
Catalog.Connections.Item(1).Close
and all variations of that I can think of...
Please help!!!

I'm not sure if this would help but have you tried setting your DataEnvironment = Nothing?
