Hangovers???

I was drunk off my ass last night and i had a hangover (sunday) through half of the day..and i have Two words that describes hangovers...THEY SUCK!

What is your favorite alcholic beverage to drink? any?

I drank budwater (budweiser) last night and when i woke up this morning ,damn..i felt like i was draged through a 1/2 inch hole..

OH yeah one more thing i noticed...
people say(well the ones that i know) if you stay home on friday/saturdays and dont go out and have fun somewhere ..you are a loser...

ok fine let them say that...so if you go out on a friday/saturday and get drunk and get a hangover the next day..does that make you any better than the person that sayed home????doesnt that make you more of a loser??

I can sympathise with you mate, because i am hungover while writing this. Saturday night was a big night, and because i am a glutton for punishment i went out again on Sunday. I am starving, but not sure i could actually stomach anything :(

Saturday was a strictly Stella night. God knows how many pints. I couldn't face pints on Sunday so it was on to the bottled larger. I seem to have a fair number of war wounds this time as well. I have hurt my ankle some how, i have a bruise on my stomach, and scratches everywhere. Whatever happened must have been good. ;)

I know what you mean regarding the loser thing as well. Most of my mates say that as well. Sometimes I just can't face a Friday though. I often got told that when I have a girlfriend, and go out with her. My mates ask if i am coming out, and when i say i am seeing the missus, they say loser, get your ass down the pub. I think this is pretty much standard around the people i know, maybe one day they will grow out of it.

OK hangover people, this is sam's failsafe hangover cure.

Go to a pub where some hard people are drinking, find the bloke whose most likley to kill you and pick a fight, then run away as fast as you can.

you'll have got rid of your hangover completley.

You'll probably also lose a limb or two in the process though ;)

no, just make sure you have a getaway car waiting, or loose him down some backstreets.

That's a good one sam i understand what your talking about cause once i was at a concert and was drunk as hell and i gotta in a small quick little fight and after i got done i was sober as hell! hehehe

Another thing that sucks to do but it works is..
The next day when you are Hungover ..drink another beer and it helps you...

I went to a drug store one time to buy some aspirin to help my hangover...haha and i seen a bottle of pills called
"Hangover killers" ..and i thought to myself "Yeah sure that would work"

This thread has brought back some painful memories.

The place, school, the time, midday on my 18th birthday, my mission to secure the school drinking record, ... 24 pints of bitter, much sinnging and something that could be described as a night's sleep I woke up, very hung over and drawn on in permanent marker. After a quick pint, which did nothing for my constitution I was ready for my days appointment, a Shooting match, using the 5.56 SA-80 assault rifle, a wonderful rifle, but the army don't like it because it's extreamly loud for its size, oh did I mention that shooting matches last 3-4 hours and are in big fields to which nobody brought any form of fluid or tobbaco products, oh yes and it was the hottest day of the year with no shade.

Guess who came last in the shooting compotition.

Ok the kiddies who claim you have to go out on Friday & Saturday nights are a pack of lamers. Saturday Wallabies vs Spring Boc night, a few of the lads and girlies came over. Got smashed on melbourne bitter, woke Sunday arvo with a splitting headache. Had the cure and ended up down the pub with phantomd drinking schooners and whisky shots. Man was l feeling crook on Monday. Cleared up by midday and spent 14 hours or so cutting code.:D:D:D:D:D

You know what... I have never had a hangover...

Maybe that has something to do with the fact I have never been drunk :D

And I guess I have never been drunk because I don't drink alcohol.... sure I've had the occasional shooter or a CC just for the heck of it but drinking alcohol seems pointless to me... I would much rather be out clubbing til 9am than sitting in a gutter somewhere ;-)


Oh and as for the losers being at home Friday/Saturday night.... If they knew what I was doing at home I am sure they might think differently :D

perhaps I am a little late in this,
but last new years I got drunk (:D) and I read something that said to drink LOTS of water before you went to bed, because a hangover is a dehydration headache, well I dont know if its cause I didnt drink enough or maybe it really worked, but i drank about 4 cups of water before bed, and I didnt have a headache in the morning, well I had to get up to go to the bathroom about 5 times... but I didnt get a hangover...

it may not work(I only had a little bit of JD on new years I may not have had enough for a hangover)
but.....
its worth a try :)
